Lily-Max's Bio
Lily-Max serves as a senior associate supporting Cornerstone’s clients in the health, defense and homeland security practice areas. She provides issue monitoring, facilitates legislative advocacy and outreach, and conducts policy research and analysis.Lily-Max started at Cornerstone as an intern, but before joining the firm she was a business development intern for a nonprofit organization, The Complete Player Charity, Youth Empowerment. In this role, she developed STEM program initiatives for students in underserved communities and wrote and submitted two grant proposals to foundations in the Anne Arundel County area. Prior to this role, she was a legislative intern for Maryland State Senator Sarah Elfreth (D-MD), where she conducted legislative research and data input on local policy issues and assisted with community outreach and advocacy with the senators’ constituents.
Lily graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in government and politics and a minor in nonprofit leadership & social innovation. During her time at UMD, she served as the director of government affairs for the Student Government Association.
