Cornerstone’s Rich History

Cornerstone was founded in 2002 as a bipartisan public affairs firm located in downtown Washington, D.C.

At its outset, the firm numbered 10 professionals and 11 clients, and placed an emphasis on the representation of non-profit organizations with a focus on the budget and appropriations process.

Today, Cornerstone – with a broad and diverse client base across government relations and strategic communications – stands as the industry’s leading public affairs firms. Cornerstone is home to over 225 professionals and hundreds of clients in offices spanning from coast to coast.
