Amanda's Bio

Amanda Kronenberger rejoined the Cornerstone team in 2025 following her time as a Staff Assistant for the full Senate Appropriations Committee as well as the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) Subcommittee.

In Amanda’s role at THUD, she managed subcommittee and full committee hearings and markups, supporting the creation, review and organization of binder materials for Chair Patty Murray (D-WA) and THUD Subcommittee Chair Brian Schatz (D-HI). In addition, Amanda assisted THUD Subcommittee staff in reviewing Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) requests.

Prior to her time with the Senate Appropriations Committee, Amanda served as an Associate at Cornerstone where she managed a portfolio of issues including local government, higher education, economic and infrastructure development, technology, and foreign affairs. She also helped oversee our Weekly Appropriations Newsletter and our Weekly Semiconductor Newsletter. Prior to becoming an Associate at Cornerstone, Amanda was also a part of our Spring 2023 Intern Cohort, serving as an Appropriations Intern.

Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State University.
