Sean Coit comes to Cornerstone from his own firm, Swivel Public Affairs, where he advised corporate, government, and nonprofit clients on strategic communications, media relations, government relations, and crisis communications. His client portfolio has included organizations such as Comcast Spectacor, Montgomery County (PA), the Pennsylvania Homecare Association, and Substack, as well as congressional and statewide campaigns. Prior to this work, Sean held senior leadership roles with Comcast Spectacor, including Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Vice President of Communications, where he oversaw all internal and external communications for the company’s sports, entertainment, and real estate portfolio. This included the Philadelphia Flyers, the Wells Fargo Center, a leading global esports franchise, and a multi-billion-dollar mixed-use development project. Earlier in his career, Sean spent more than a decade on Capitol Hill, serving as Senior Advisor and Communications Director to U.S. Senator Chris Coons, where he worked closely with the Senator to set long-term messaging and policy priorities and served as the Senator’s primary spokesperson. He also held communications roles with Senators Patty Murray, Frank Lautenberg, Jeanne Shaheen, Chris Murphy, and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, along with senior roles on multiple federal and statewide campaigns. He earned his B.A. from Saint Joseph’s University.
