Sydney previously served as a Policy Intern in our Washington, D.C. office, where she tracks legislation and floor activity regarding a broad array of policy issues including national security, defense and intelligence, energy, technology and transportation. She also prepares memos and helps in drafting the firm’s weekly semiconductor newsletter and monthly ESG newsletter.

Prior to her internship with Cornerstone, Sydney served as a Communications Intern at John Snow, Inc. and World Education, Inc. In this role, she built a social media strategy on multiple platforms, resulting in a growth in their following, increased audience exposure, and promotion of project outcomes to funders and donors. She also worked to revamp World Education’s website through organizing content and adding visuals. Sydney also served as an Intern/Research Assistant at the America-Eurasia Center.

Sydney holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University.
