Previously, Sydney was a Policy Intern in Cornerstone’s Washington, D.C. office, where she tracked legislation and floor activity on issues including national security, defense and intelligence, energy, technology and transportation. She prepared memos on congressional hearings, briefings, and webinars for internal and client distribution, authored legislative and executive action analyses and drafted the firm’s semiconductor and ESG newsletters.

Before joining Cornerstone, Sydney served as a Communications Intern at John Snow, Inc. and World Education, Inc., where she developed social media strategies and enhanced website content through improved organization and visual design. She also worked as an Intern/Research Assistant at the America-Eurasia Center.

Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
