Sarah's Bio
Sarah Dresh serves as a senior associate supporting Cornerstone’s national security, defense, and appropriations clients. She provides issue monitoring, facilitates legislative advocacy and outreach, and conducts policy research and analysis.Most recently, Sarah completed a government relations internship at Invariant where she assisted the judiciary and commerce practice group by writing comprehensive, client-tailored policy memos and hearing summaries on topics including data privacy, antitrust, and cybersecurity, in addition to doing outreach to congressional offices and executive agencies. Prior to that, she was a legislative intern for the Office of Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD). In this role, Sarah supported legislative staff by researching legislation, tracking defense appropriations, and writing memos. Sarah also served as a government relations intern at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck where she assisted the government relations team with researching and analyzing policy issues including foreign affairs, telecommunications, and national security.
After spending the fall semester as a Cornerstone intern, Sarah graduated from the University of Maryland in the spring of 2022, with a bachelor’s degree in government and politics and history.
