Sara's Bio
Sara Strickland joined Cornerstone as an Associate in September 2025. In this role, she supports federal government relations clients with a focus on national security and energy.Sara previously served as a Cornerstone Policy Intern during the Summer of 2024. Throughout her Cornerstone internship, Sara collaborated on projects, research, and writing supporting agriculture and energy clients. She also conducted policy analysis and drafted memos on congressional hearings and co-drafted the weekly agriculture newsletter.
Most recently, Sara served as a Campaign Finance Intern with Josh Stein for North Carolina where she engaged with voters and donors through outreach efforts, finance data management, and supported the setup and logistics of fundraising receptions. She previously served as a Non-Profit Management Intern with United Way of Colquitt County where she assisted the director with fundraising and allocating efforts to local non-profits.
Sara received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a double minor in English and Environmental Justice.
