Patrick's Bio

Patrick Hogan joined Cornerstone in October of 2023 following his time at the University System of Maryland (USM), where he had the role of vice chancellor for government relations. In this role, he was the chief adviser to the USM chancellor and the USM Board of Regents on government relations policies and strategies, on both the state and federal levels. In addition, he chaired the USM's State Relations Council for the system's twelve institutions.

Before the USM, Patrick served as deputy legislative officer for Maryland’s Office of the Governor. He was part of the senior leadership team advising the Governor on strategy, policy and government oversight. Patrick was also previously elected to serve in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2011-2015, and earlier from 2003-2007.

Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
