Prior to Cornerstone, Manny served as a Manager of Government Relations & Public Policy at Washington Gas. In this role, Manny represented the interests of Washington Gas before the state and local governments in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and key local and regional business and trade organizations. He developed and executed an annual public policy strategy and public affairs program agenda for state and local legislative initiatives and supported advocacy strategies.

Before that, he served as a Legislative Director for Councilmember Brandon Todd and was also Director of the Council’s Committee on Government Operations, whose jurisdiction included oversight of policy and legislation recommendations overseeing the executive, administrative, and operational functions of the government to ensure accountability and wise use of taxpayer dollars.

Previously, Manny held two additional roles, including Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Energy and Environment and Legislative Director & Counsel for the Office of Councilmember Vincent B. Orange, Sr.

Manny earned his Juris Doctor from Howard University after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Arts from Temple University.
