Kevin's Bio

Kevin Cheng joined Cornerstone in January 2025 to support our federal government relations team in D.C.  As an Associate, he monitors issues, facilitates legislative advocacy and outreach, and conducts policy research and analysis.

Prior to Cornerstone, Kevin served as Legislative Assistant in the Office of former Representative Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), where he managed a legislative portfolio focused on the House Committee on Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce and the Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. Beyond committee work, he handled policy issues such as financial services, small business, transportation & infrastructure, homeland security, science, space and technology. Kevin also served as a Legislative Correspondent in the same office.

Before his time in Rep. Armstrong’s office, Kevin served as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent in the Office of former Representative Rodney Davis (R-IL). There, he managed constituent relations and correspondence, oversaw the intern program, and staffed the Congressman’s office daily for various meetings and events.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University.
