Grace's Bio
Grace Wilkins joined Cornerstone in July 2024 to support the firm’s marketing team. As marketing coordinator, she assists with the firm’s state business development activities, including scheduling internal and external meetings, drafting proposals, presentations, and firm capabilities documents and maintaining other marketing materials.Before Cornerstone, Grace served as a Policy & Communications Intern at the Institute of Government and Public Affairs. In this role, she conducted various research projects, ranging from policy issues to potential award recipients, and presented findings to senior leadership and scholars. In addition, she drafted, edited, and uploaded press releases and articles to the organization’s website. Simultaneously, Grace also served as a Marketing & Communications Intern at Builden Partners. In this role, she drafted press releases, biographies, award applications, articles and social media text for clients. She also completed market research and various internal and external projects contributing to the company’s business development and growth.
Prior to both roles, Grace was a Legislative & Press Intern at the Office of Senator Richard J. Durbin. In this role, she assisted the office and staff by taking phone calls, handling case work, attending briefings and hearings, as well as completing press clips daily, research and create press lists, draft, edit and review press releases.
Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications with a concentration in law and power from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
