Elizabeth's Bio
Elizabeth Teed Griffin joined Cornerstone in March of 2023 largely concentrating on healthcare client portfolios and areas of focus. Prior to joining the firm, she served at the Office of U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman (AR-04), where she held several roles, including Staff Assistant, Legislative Correspondent and Legislative Assistant.Most recently, as a Legislative Assistant, Elizabeth’s legislative portfolio included defense, veterans’ affairs, health care, financial services, tax, trade and small business. In her role, she drafted and introduced a major health care reform bill – the Fair Care Act of 2022 and H.R. 6800, a bill related to tax return processing at the IRS, and drafted amendments related to Defense and Financial Services. She also handled Rep. Westerman’s Healthy Future Task Force – Treatments Subcommittee portfolio, which included working with industry stakeholders, related federal agencies, and Members of Congress on policy to reform the nation’s pharmaceutical and medical device approval process at the FDA, coverage determination at CMS and address future health care challenges.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University and is currently enrolled in the Naval War College’s Fleet Seminar Program.
