Cooper's Bio

Cooper Moore joined Cornerstone in April 2025 after serving as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator John Kennedy (R-LA), where he drafted official correspondence on various policy areas, including appropriations, budget, transportation, infrastructure and agriculture. He also conducted legislative research and engaged with constituents to address policy concerns and legislative priorities.

Prior to this, he served as a Staff Assistant for the same office, providing administrative support and managing correspondence.

Cooper has participated in fellowships with the Heritage Foundation as an Academy Fellow and Congressional Fellow, and with the Center for Public Justice as a Civitas Fellow. He is currently a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Conservation Coalition.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from Nicholls State University, where he was actively involved in student government and various clubs.
