Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Cornerstone, a leading bipartisan government relations and public affairs firm with federal and state reach, announced Wednesday the addition of Jordan Gleason as a vice president in the firm’s Baton Rouge office. Jordan brings more than a decade of experience in effective advocacy, coalition building and providing strategic solutions for legislative and regulatory issues.
“I am elated and honored to be joining the Cornerstone team in Baton Rouge,” said Jordan. “I look forward to expanding the already extensive expertise of the firm and learning from the decades of experience possessed by those in the Louisiana office.”
Jordan joins Cornerstone from Adams & Reese LLP, where he served as a government affairs advisor for more than two years. In this role, he built strong relationships with state and local government officials, with a particular focus on outreach regarding issues surrounding the oil and gas industry. Prior to that, Jordan founded and operated his own firm, Gleason Consulting LLC, where he advocated on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries. Jordan also worked for the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA) as government affairs and communications director, ensuring effective communication between industry associations on issues of importance to their respective members.
Previously, Jordan served as press secretary and legislative assistant for former Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA), acting as spokesperson and communicating priorities to the media and public outlets. He also worked in the office of former Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), serving as the liaison between the Governor’s office and the Louisiana Legislature to advocate and inform lawmakers on the Governor’s priorities and positions.
“Jordan’s addition to the team will help our firm grow in our capability to serve clients, particularly in areas like energy, healthcare, and public affairs,” said Campbell Kaufman, Managing Director. “We are very excited about him coming on board.”
He joins the well-established Cornerstone Louisiana team that includes Campbell Kaufman, Gabrielle Kees, Stephen Ledet, Nial Patel, Paul Rainwater and Mike Enlow.
