Jeff Hamling starts June 7
ATLANTA, GA & WASHINGTON, DC – Cornerstone Government Affairs announced the addition of Jeff Hamling, former deputy chief of staff to then Congressman Tom Price (R-GA). Hamling joins the firm as a senior vice president and will work out of the company’s offices in Atlanta and Washington, DC.
“We are excited to add Jeff to the Cornerstone team,” said Campbell Kaufman, director of state government relations. “His relationships in both Washington and Atlanta will be invaluable as we continue to grow the business in those two markets.”
Hamling comes to the firm after two years as a lobbyist in Denton’s Atlanta office. Prior to Denton’s, Hamling worked at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce as vice president for state and federal affairs. He joined the Chamber after serving Congressman Price for five and a half years.
“The team approach Cornerstone utilizes on behalf of its clients is unique in the marketplace and is what attracted me to make the switch,” Hamling said. “I’m looking forward to helping them continue to build the company.”
Hamling’s addition is the most recent in a string of new hires for Cornerstone. In the past month, the firm announced the addition of Chris Sarley to the DC office and Will Cousineau to the Chicago and Springfield offices.
