(Oklahoma City) – Cornerstone Government Affairs announced today the addition of former Oklahoma House of Representatives Press Secretary Maddy Hague to the firm’s Oklahoma office.

In her role as Press Secretary, Hague’s responsibilities included drafting news releases, columns, talking points and press clips, alerting key stakeholders and media with dynamic information in real time. Hague also maintained relationships with House Republican members, helping to strategize all communication material for the House Republican Caucus.
She also served as Press Secretary for the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, where she developed key media relationships and managed digital content across various platforms.
Earlier in her career, Hague served as a Communications Specialist for the School of Global Studies & Partnerships, where she created social media content, interviewed students and shared compelling stories on global outreach efforts. She also interned with the American Red Cross, pitching media ideas, writing press releases, and contributing to blog posts for Red Cross Oklahoma. Additionally, she served as a Public Relations and Social Media Intern at OSU Health Services.

Hague received her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication from Oklahoma State University.
