A Rich History
Cornerstone was founded in the summer of 2002 as a bipartisan public affairs firm located in downtown Washington, D.C.
At its outset, the firm numbered 10 professionals and 11 clients, and placed an emphasis on the representation of non-profit organizations with a focus on the budget and appropriations process.
Today, Cornerstone – with a broad and diverse client base across government relations and strategic communications – stands as one of the industry’s leading public affairs firms with over 180 professionals and more than 600 clients throughout our 16 offices.
