Cornerstone Welcomes Nick Dye to Public Affairs Team

Cornerstone is pleased to share that we welcomed Nick Dye as a Vice President on our Public Affairs team on February 15. Nick brings a decade of strategic communications experience, with a particular focus on health care and political communications.

Prior to Cornerstone, Nick served at Weber Shandwick as Senior Manager in the firm’s Healthcare Public Affairs. In this role, he led large-scale email and SMS campaigns advocating for health care access. He also served as the day-to-day client lead on public awareness campaigns, developed multi-scenario crisis communications plans and oversaw complex media monitoring efforts for major national trade associations.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Public Affairs team at Cornerstone and building upon my experience to drive results for our clients,” said Dye. “Throughout the interview process with my new colleagues, I was excited by the opportunity to work with an experienced, bipartisan team on complex issues across industries.”

Prior to Weber Shandwick, Nick worked at Hill & Knowlton Strategies, where he supported public affairs clients across the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and defense sectors. In this role, he analyzed federal and state-level policy developments to inform client advocacy strategies and drafted a wide range of materials—including op-eds, speeches, talking points, letters to the editor and policy documents—to advance clients’ legislative and regulatory priorities. He also supported state-level advocacy efforts for a major telecommunications provider, helping translate complex policy issues into clear, compelling communications for both policymakers and the public.

“Across industries, organizations are navigating increasingly complex policy and communications challenges,” said Managing Principal Kirsten West. “Our Public Affairs team continues to grow to meet that demand, and Nick’s experience will strengthen our ability to help clients communicate clearly, respond effectively and advance their priorities.”

Earlier in his career, Nick held roles with Strauss Media Strategies, the Environmental Defense Fund and Ceisler Media and Issue Advocacy, gaining experience in media relations, policy analysis, and strategic communications for corporate, nonprofit and government clients.

Cornerstone’s rapidly growing Public Affairs practice includes more than twenty strategic communications professionals, who serve a diverse set of clients in industries including health care, energy, retail, and technology.
