Georgia’s Congressional primaries were mostly stable with incumbents such as Rep. Sanford Bishop (D), Rep. Lucy McBath (D) and Rep. Rich McCormick (R) all advancing. Several open seats (CD-1, CD-10, CD-11) remain competitive due to retirements and bids for higher office. In CD-13, State Rep. Jasmine Clark (D) won outright (56%). A special election to fill the remainder of the late U.S. Rep. David Scott’s term will be held July 28th.
