Prior to Cornerstone, Kaitlin served as Operations Manager at Strategic Funding Group, where she led grant strategy and funding portfolio management for more than 30 nonprofit and government clients across the country. In this role, she identified and evaluated federal funding opportunities, advised clients on changes in federal policy and appropriations, and managed the full grant application lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission. She also oversaw the firm’s business operations, including finance, HR, marketing, compliance, client relationship management, hiring and team performance.

Kaitlin has a passion for and extensive experience working with nonprofits specializing in providing human services within their communities. In her early career, she has analyzed federal funding opportunities across agencies and developed grant applications and comprehensive policy reports focused on areas such as criminal justice, public safety, workforce development, education and behavioral health.

Kaitlin is from Scottsdale, Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Washington in Seattle.
