David previously served as an Associate at The Herald Group. In this role, David developed policy-focused communications materials, including press releases, opinion editorials, social media content and messaging briefs for clients across the biopharmaceutical, defense tech, financial services and insurance sectors. In addition, he worked closely with reporters to place opinion pieces and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to advance client advocacy efforts.

Prior to his role at Herald Group, David served as a Fellow with the firm, where he supported client communications, conducted media monitoring and legislative tracking, and researched public affairs strategies for a variety of clients. He also previously served as a Law Clerk with Hughes Brown PLLC and as a Research Intern with Crossroads Strategies.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Leadership with a minor in Journalism from the University of Mississippi, graduating magna cum laude as a Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College Scholar.
