Christian's Bio

Christian Walker joined Cornerstone in July 2022 as a vice president on the firm’s federal government relations team. He currently serves clients in the national security, homeland security and cybersecurity space.

Christian came to Cornerstone from the Office of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) where he was the deputy chief of staff and legislative director. In this role, Christian managed Washington, D.C. based staff and all legislative staff and activity, including overseeing vote recommendations, floor and committee activity, co-sponsorships, and legislative correspondence. He also served as the lead advisor for the Congresswoman’s Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and developed relationships with leadership, committees, member offices, interest groups, and industry reps.

While working for the Congresswoman in the fall of 2020, Christian was also a senior advisor for the U.S. Senate Campaign – MJ For Texas. In this role, he expanded political department capacity as a senior staffer, increasing constituency outreach, planning, and executing round table events and GOTV rallies. Additionally, he mobilized elected officials and community leaders, activating them as surrogates and validators. He also held the role of campaign manager during the prior election cycle, where he managed a DCCC Red-to-Blue, nationally targeted congressional campaign for the first-time candidate and planned and executed a $5.4 million budget.

Christian received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Northern Arizona University.
