Camp's Bio

Camp Kaufman serves as the firm’s Principal and Managing Director and has been with the firm since its founding. In his role, he manages the firm’s activities across its 11 state offices as well as the firm's public affairs and advisory services teams.

He brings 28 years of public affairs experience to Cornerstone.

Prior to Cornerstone, Camp worked on Capitol Hill, serving as communications director and a senior policy advisor for two Louisiana Members of Congress. He has also been involved in various campaigns for Republican candidates at the local, state, and national levels, particularly in Louisiana.

He has served on various local community boards including the First Tee of Washington, D.C. and the Leadership Giving Program at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School. Camp holds a B.A. in Journalism from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!).
