Andrea most recently served as a National Security Analyst at Rockwood Company LLC, where she supported the Office of the Under Secretary for Intelligence and Security within the Department of Defense. In this role, she oversaw the implementation of updated security policies, evaluated program outcomes and prepared recommendations for Congress. In addition, she facilitated strategic partnerships between defense industry leaders and senior Pentagon officials through quarterly engagement forums and led large-scale initiatives within the Office of Information and Acquisition Protection impacting more than one million stakeholders.

Prior to her time at Rockwood Company, Andrea interned with NBC News’ Washington Bureau, where she supported political reporting across multiple teams through research, data analysis, source engagement and on-site coverage at Capitol Hill, the Pentagon and the State Department. She also contributed to coverage of the Presidential Debate and Republican National Convention. Andrea previously held roles with MSNBC’s ‘Ana Cabrera Reports’, in the Office of Rep. Correa (CA-46) and with Witness to Mass Incarceration Inc.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
