Austin, TX – Cornerstone Government Affairs announced Monday the addition of Craig Holzheauser as a Vice President to the firm. Holzheauser comes to Cornerstone having previously been a political consultant.

Craig Holzheauser brings to Cornerstone years of involvement in Texas state and local politics. A Victoria, Texas native and Texas A&M University graduate, Craig went to work in the private sector after college before beginning a political career at the state capitol in 2012. After working two highly-contentious Republican primary campaigns, Craig went to work for Chairwoman Myra Crownover. He quickly took over as Legislative Director and Committee Director for the House Committee on Public Health. From these positions, Craig made critical contacts and further honed his understanding of the political process. His expertise includes: public health, health care, housing, occupational regulation, transportation, energy, and business regulation.
