Cornerstone Government Affairs Adds Naval Aviator to National Security Practice

Victoria Marum, Congressional Liaison Officer for the United States Navy, joined the firm on May 1

(WASHINGTON) – Cornerstone Government Affairs, a leading, bipartisan public affairs firm with federal and state reach, announced that Victoria Marum, former Congressional Liaison Officer for the United States Navy, joined the firm as a Vice President on May 1.  Victoria bolsters Cornerstone’s National Security practice group and immediately enhances the firm’s work with a broad and diverse set of defense clients.

Victoria comes to Cornerstone after serving for 12 years in the U.S. Navy, most recently as the Legislative Liaison to the United States House of Representatives.  Through her role as Legislative Liaison, Victoria engaged with Members of Congress and committee staff regarding Naval and joint defense efforts, organized and led international congressional delegations for various engagements, led high-impact events on Capitol Hill, and provided strategic guidance to senior Navy officials.

“Victoria brings immediate value to Cornerstone’s National Security practice with her immense Naval experience, expertise, and relationships,” said Cornerstone President Geoff Gonella. “We are thrilled to welcome her to the Cornerstone team.”

“I am delighted to join the Cornerstone Government Affairs team,” said Victoria Marum. “The firm’s collaborative and bipartisan approach, high ethical standards, and business philosophy are known to be among the best. I look forward to using my expertise in national security, defense, and legislative operations to boost Cornerstone’s future growth and success in serving our clients.”
