Tyler's Bio

Tyler Dickerson joined Cornerstone in January of 2024 as an Associate for our federal government relations team. He supports client teams in a variety of issue areas including international affairs, non-for-profit organizations, global health, higher education and appropriations.

Tyler previously served as a Policy Intern at the firm in fall 2023, where he was responsible for monitoring policy changes and news and compiling weekly updates for immigration and not-for-profit clients. He has authored memos on congressional hearings and briefings that were shared with staff and clients regarding policy issues such as foreign relations, homeland security, immigration, higher education, economic development and health care.

Prior to his internship with Cornerstone, Tyler was Co-Founder and Campus Leader for the ONE Campaign, Mississippi State University chapter. In this role, he trained in policy implementation and advocacy at the ONE Power Summit in Washington, DC, and lobbied Members of Congress from Mississippi and Louisiana on behalf of the ONE Campaign. Tyler also served as the student body treasurer for the Mississippi State University Student Association where he developed, analyzed and managed the annual Student Association budget. In this role, he served as Financial Advisor to the Student Association President, Executive Branch and Senate, as well as oversaw the Student Association Senate Appropriations Committee as an ex-officio member. He also advised university administrators on policy decisions impacting the student experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tyler graduated from Mississippi State University’s International Business Program with a bachelor’s degree in economics and in Spanish language and culture.
