Meredith's Bio
Meredith McLaughlin is a Vice President on Cornerstone’s Maine team, where she supports clients in advancing strategic priorities and cultivating effective relationships across state government. Since joining Cornerstone in 2023, Meredith has assisted clients with legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement and navigating Maine’s policy and regulatory environment.Prior to Cornerstone, Meredith built extensive experience within the Maine Legislature. She most recently served as a Legislative Aide in the Senate Republican Minority Office, where she facilitated communication among legislators, lobbyists, state officials, agency personnel and constituents throughout the legislative process. In this role, she advised members on legislative strategy across dozens of bills and prepared testimony, floor speeches and constituent correspondence.
Previously, Meredith served as Policy Director for the Senate Republican Caucus, working closely with stakeholders to develop legislation aimed at addressing constituent needs and removing policy barriers. She managed a legislative portfolio spanning multiple policy committees and provided strategic guidance to caucus members on a wide range of policy issues.
Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women’s Studies from the University of Maine and lives in Topsham, Maine with her husband and children.
