Meredith's Bio

Meredith joined Cornerstone’s Maine team in May 2023 and serves as an Assistant Vice President. She assist with executing strategic client initiatives and helping them cultivate strong relationships throughout the state.

Meredith comes to Cornerstone following her time at the Senate Republican Minority Office, where she held two roles. Most recently, Meredith served as a Legislative Aide, where she facilitated communication between legislators, lobbyists, state officials, agency personnel and constituents in the development and advancement of legislation. She also advised members on legislative strategy on dozens of bills and prepared written testimony, floor speeches and constituent correspondence for legislators. Prior to this role, Meredith was a Policy Director, where she worked with stakeholders to craft legislation that alleviated impediments for constituents and drafted daily memos, testimony, speeches and correspondence for members of the 18-member caucus.

Meredith also served a Policy Assistant for the Office of the President of the Maine Senate. She researched, vetted and assisted in confirming nominees for the Senate President’s appointments to State boards and commissions, resulting in dozens of the Senate President’s nominees being placed in key positions. In addition, she oversaw a legislative portfolio spanning ten policy committees and coordinated with stakeholders to pass multiple pieces of legislation moving through those committees.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and woman’s studies from the University of Maine.
