Madeleine's Bio
Madeleine Cantrel Diakiwski serves as Cornerstone's chief of staff. In this role, she collaborates with firm leadership to develop and implement plans for operational efficiency and effectiveness. With a focus on the firm’s federal government relations and advisory services business units, Madeleine assesses team workloads and resource allocation, client relationship building, information flow and communications.Madeleine previously served as the firm’s chief marketing officer where she was responsible for the design and implementation of the company’s business development and marketing activities. She has held multiple roles since joining the firm in 2012, including state government relations coordinator where she assisted in the operations, client service and business development activities of the firm’s growing state office footprint. Before coming to Cornerstone, she completed internships with the Glover Park Group and the National Institutes of Health.
Madeleine is active in her community and enjoys serving on the board of the Christ Child Society-DC Chapter. She earned her bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and resides in Kensington, Maryland with her husband and daughter.
