Lucy's Bio

Lucy Lasseur rejoined the Cornerstone team in 2022 to assist in building out the firm’s presence in her home state of Colorado. She currently serves as a vice president, facilitating legislative advocacy, performing policy research and analysis, and providing strategic guidance to a diverse group of clients with interests including public health, education, and labor.

Lucy previously served as a senior associate on Cornerstone’s federal health team in the D.C. office from 2018-2021, during which time she specialized in behavioral health appropriations and authored the “COVID-19 Compilation” newsletter during the pandemic. Lucy transitioned to Deloitte as a consultant in their Government and Public Services practice, where she focused on helping the Virginia Department of Health implement the Commonwealth’s COVID-19 vaccination strategy and increase vaccination rates in the state’s Medicaid population. Additionally, she was involved with Deloitte’s Opioid Strategies Community, the Public Health Transformation practice group and the State/Local Behavioral Health Team.

Prior to Lucy’s first stint at Cornerstone, she was a graduate research assistant in the Environmental and Occupational Health department at GWU and served as a labor policy intern for the House Committee on Education and the Workforce where she wrote labor-related health legislation. Lucy earned her MPH in Environmental Health Science and Policy from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and graduated with her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Vassar College. She currently serves as the President of the Vassar Club of Colorado.
