Lizzie's Bio

Lizzie Imber serves as a Vice President on the firm’s federal government relations team, where she leads the engagement of local and municipal governments, utility authorities, local chambers of commerce, and institutions of higher education. In this role, she provides policy analysis, strategic guidance and appropriations support on issues including transportation and infrastructure, economic development and education policy.

Lizzie joined the Cornerstone team in September 2021 as a Senior Associate supporting the firm’s budget and appropriations practice and OpsWatch grant monitoring service.

Prior to joining Cornerstone, she served as a Legislative Assistant in the office of Representative John Rutherford (R-FL) in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she advised on policy issues and worked with stakeholders across northeast Florida to advance district priorities across a broad legislative portfolio. Additionally, Lizzie served as a Legislative Aide to Representative Steven Palazzo (R-MS), where she prepared legislative briefings and policy memos to support and advise the Member prior to votes and meetings.

Lizzie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida and is pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at Syracuse University.
