Leah comes to Cornerstone after serving as an Account Manager and Human Resources Coordinator for Bestica in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, she negotiated placement contracts between hiring facilities and travel nurses, including extending written offer letters and facilitating placement. She reworked the new hire orientation program, coordinated employee satisfaction surveys and gave actionable insights to improve employees’ experience.

Before this role, Leah served as a Referral Coordinator for Medical Vein Clinic, where she processed referrals from primary care providers for specialty and ancillary care, prioritizing the referrals according to defined levels of urgency, scheduling member appointments as necessary and communicating referral information to patients. She also developed and launched a new referral-tracking system that increased referral-to-appointment, assisting in breaking two personal records of the clinic.

Leah received her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and is actively working towards her Master of Human Resources from Georgetown University.
