Jenny's Bio

Jenny Neuscheler brings nearly a decade of experience working on the House Committee on Appropriations. She joins Cornerstone following her time as the Clerk on the House Committee on Appropriations, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Subcommittee. In this role, she served as the expert on the Appropriations legislative process and on Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense military construction programs, budgets, and policy. Jenny also advised the full committee Chair and Ranking Member and staff director on all aspects of program funding and oversight, including hearing preparation, bill and report drafting, subcommittee and full committee markups, floor consideration, and conference negotiations in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Prior to this role, Jenny served as a Professional Staff Member on the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, where she was responsible for Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration, as well as various Department of Housing and Urban Development  programs. Jenny also worked as a Professional Staff Member on the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Subcommittee.

Jenny received her master’s degree in defense and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park. She resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and son.
