Cornerstone Public Affairs Adds Armando Diaz as Vice President

Armando Diaz, former communications strategist at EY, joins firm

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Cornerstone Public Affairs, a leading, bipartisan public affairs firm, announces the addition of Armando Diaz as vice president. Diaz, a native of Florida and fluent Spanish speaker, brings to Cornerstone nearly 10 years of public affairs and strategic communications experience in Washington, D.C., working in corporate communications across professional services, accounting and educational sectors.

Diaz joins a fast-growing public affairs team that includes Matt Paul, Jimmy Centers, Claire Burghoff, Katelyn O’Hare-Hayes and Renee Roig.

Previously, Diaz served for more than five years at Ernst & Young (EY), where he led public and media relations for several of the firm’s c-suite leadership teams. Throughout his time at EY and prior communications positions, including GED Testing Service, Widmeyer Communications and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Diaz has continued to utilize his strong public relations skills to develop strategic tactics and help drive successful policy objectives.
