Taylor's BioTaylor Durbin joined Cornerstone as an associate in August 2020 to support the firm’s national security and health clients. He assists in issue monitoring, conducts policy research and analysis and facilitates legislative advocacy and outreach.
Taylor has policy experience on the federal and local level, interning for Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) on the Joint Economic Committee as well as in the Minnesota State Senate. At the Joint Economic Committee, Taylor collaborated with senior economists and policymakers to develop critical and data-driven research on a host of issues. He also holds campaign experience as the canvas manager for Maryland State Delegate Jared Solomon’s 2018 election.
A Washington, DC native, Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in legal studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where his coursework focused heavily on public policy and writing. Outside the classroom, Taylor served as co-chair of the Macalester Democrats, organizing campus forums and political events. Taylor was also captain of both the Men’s varsity swim team and club water polo.
