Lillie's Bio

Lillie Brady, a senior associate, joined the firm in December 2021 and supports the Des Moines, Iowa office.  In her role, she primarily assists with administrative and support duties, legislative fundraising, scheduling meetings, and organizing annual events and legislative receptions. During legislative session, Lillie is responsible for attending hearings, inputting Bill declarations for clients, drafting weekly newsletters, and providing legislative research and policy analysis through issue papers and bill summaries.

Prior to joining Cornerstone, Lillie was an associate at Corteva Agriscience where she led and managed the Seed Platform Portfolio for the Government and Industry Affairs team, while developing Corteva’s strategic Capitol Hill and Executive Branch outreach and engagement. She was also responsible for the planning and writing of public comments for rules and regulations posted on the Federal Register.

Before Corteva, she was the director of external and intergovernmental affairs at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In this role, she served as USDA’s primary liaison to the food and agriculture sector, state departments of agriculture, and state and local officials. She presented to thousands of state and local officials and stakeholders regarding USDA programs and priorities for rural America, including representing USDA at White House State Leadership Days. During her tenure at USDA, she was also detailed to the White House to work on agriculture policy for the National Economic Council (NEC).

Before working at USDA, she spent time on Capitol Hill working for her home state senator, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and for Sen. John Boozman (R-AR).  Lillie received her bachelor’s degree and graduated summa cum laude from Pfeiffer University.
