Greg's BioGreg Hopper is an energy industry expert with a focus on North American natural gas, power and LNG markets. He advises clients on strategy, transactions and investments, regulatory policy, project development, contract negotiations, asset valuation and market analyses.
Greg previously served as vice president and head of Americas Gas & Power Consulting at Wood Mackenzie, Inc. and vice president of ICF International where he led the company’s oil and gas advisory group. At these companies, he held primary responsibility for client engagement and business development. He was also managing director of natural gas and power fuels at Black & Veatch Management Consulting, and a founding partner and vice president of Lukens Energy Group, a boutique energy consulting partnership which merged to form a global advisory and engineering services company.
Greg began his energy career in investment banking before joining Williams Gas Pipelines where he led and managed investments in natural gas midstream assets, and the strategic and financial evaluation of acquisitions and joint ventures to leverage the company’s entry into new markets. He has an MBA from Rice University, BBA from University of Texas and CPA in the state of Texas.
