Emma Rose's Bio
Emma Rose Bagwell serves as an associate in Cornerstone’s Atlanta, GA office, assisting the firm’s government relations team with client service activities including conducting research and providing updates on state legislative matters and diverse regulatory issues. She has experience in government relations and a wide range of policy knowledge through her internships at McGuireWoods Consulting, David Perdue for U.S. Senate, the Office of Gov. Brian P. Kemp (R-GA) and NCR Corporation.At McGuireWoods Consulting she served as a government relations intern, composing memos summarizing federal legislation for clients and firm partners and monitoring ongoing regulatory developments in areas such as healthcare, energy, transportation and infrastructure. Emma Rose was also a grassroots campaign intern for David Perdue for U.S. Senate, where she mobilized voter turnout and coordinated campaign events across the state. Additionally, as a government relations intern for NCR Corporation in Atlanta, Emma Rose informed company executives on policy issues including data privacy, cybersecurity and international trade relations.
Prior to that, she interned for the Office of Gov. Kemp (R-GA), tracking legislation through the conclusion of the 2020 Georgia Legislative Session, overseeing committee hearings in both the House and Senate chambers and conducting legislative research for different policy areas ranging from healthcare to economic affairs.
Most recently, Emma Rose completed an internship with Cowsert Health, LLP, where she analyzed and summarized depositions of defendants and plaintiffs in personal injury cases, in addition to researching details of cases for firm attorneys and clients.
Emma Rose received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in political science and international affairs from the University of Georgia.
