Allie's Bio
Allie serves as an associate supporting Cornerstone’s food and agriculture team. She provides agriculture issue monitoring, facilitates legislative advocacy and outreach, and conducts policy research and analysis.Prior to joining Cornerstone in May 2021, Allie worked at the office of Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) as a congressional intern and focused on preparing and presenting legislative briefs on a variety of issues. At the same time, Allie was also serving as a government relations intern for the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, where she engaged in the MCA policy process by communicating with legislators. In addition to both of those internships, Allie was also working for the Giddens Group as a public policy intern, where she attended committee hearings and researched and examined legislation.
Before those internships, Allie worked for the Food & Agriculture Policy Research Institute as an economic research intern, where she created and published a 150+ page economic documentation of the FAPRI U.S. Stochastic Crop Model, in addition to, analyzing and interpreting national and international agricultural data.
Allie is a Missouri native and earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business Management with a Public Policy emphasis from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
