With service in Korea, Europe, and the continental United States, Dan has a strong combat arms background. In Army aviation, he has uncommon operational credentials, having served in air cavalry, assault, attack, and utility units. Qualified in seven U.S. and foreign military helicopters, Dan received his Master Aviator rating while in command of an AH-64 (Apache) battalion.
